Got H&B kit today.

I opened the bag of bits and checked everything, but:

According to the Prof's comprehensive guide, I should have "four 65mm long allen-headed bolts"

I have three 65mm and one 75mm

Also 3 idenitcal spacers and one long, contrary to the Prof's kit.

What I'm asking is, would he have a different fixing kit on account of his being an 1150 (mine is 1100)? And where does the long bolt go? I reckon it goes at the rear fixing, but which side, brake or gear lever?

Also, this has to be the dimmest question. I fix the bars OUTSIDE the subframe, and not sandwiched between the subframe and the engine block - right?

Give us a couple of minutes and I'll come up with another one.

The long bolt goes on the right side ( sat on bike ) at the rear. It screws into the bit near where the shaft joins the gearbox and it screws in facing the front of the bike, if that makes sense. There are some excellent instructions on the site somewhere ( For the 1150 ), but it's very similar to the 1100. I'll see if I can find them.

Did you find that bolt in the end Jam ?

it was just the spacer on the exhaust side that i am still missing.........fingers crossed it never goes down that side!!!
