Denali Soundbomb And Brake Line...

I've just fitted a denali sound bomb to my 1250 and the brake line is almost touching the bottom of the horn and will rub when the suspension compresses. Does anyone know of a bracket that could clamp to the fork and just hold the line to one side? Obviously, I don't want to actually clamp the line but hold it to one side. If there is a better fix I'm listening. Thanks

More importantly hope you have put a second nut, acting as a locking nut between the bracket and the horn, so it does not loosen up and jump off..... area where 2nd nut is needed circled in red below.

Thanks. I’ve put a locknut on aswell and loctited em. I also thought of mixing up some araldite or epoxy and spreading it around the captive bolt head as an extra measure but not sure about it. If I cant sort the brake line out I’ll remove the horn as I dont want any issues!

After a good dose of looking at I decided to remove the horn and bracket together, I then drilled and tapped a M6 hole in the bracket and fitted a bolt that stops the horn from moving upwards and possibly dropping off. Should’ve took a pic but forgot!! It’s simple and should do the trick though.

Now that sounds like how the bracket should be from the start, made a little picture to basically show where you have drilled and tapped the bracket, the red dot is the tapped hole, so easier for the rest to see what you have done, that is by far the safest option.

Thats it. The bolt bears down on the inverted “U”. I cut the length so that when its nipped up and loctited it just puts a bit of pressure on the plastic casing. All I need to do now is try and route the brake line properly but still looking for a decent looking bracket that will do the job.

Guys, I’ve mounted mine off the back of my rack - got some right (negative) comments about it but it’s worked, it’s safe and to Corsica and back it was perfect

The one that comes with it is good - it`s the one I used - I`ll get some images of it if I can sort my sad ass out. Btw I`ve just poted in the rattly 1250 post - worth reading as it`s a really good demented rambling from me

Here’s some images of where I’ve mounted mine - no brake line issues, fits right to the bike and IMHO a really good solution! I acknowledge the negative comments about it but for me it works!
