I gave a mature couple a friendly toot as they blindly drove straight in front of me on a roundabout the other evening. Frankly the OEM horn won't frighten the skin off a soggy rice pudding so I decided I needed a more efficient attention getter....
So I bought a Denali Soundbomb from RG Racing along with the KTM 1190 custom mount and a wiring loom for it.
The bracket neatly places the horn on the right hand side of the bike, just above the exhaust and in front of the clutch cover.
I ran the power cable under the tank back to the battery, and managed to make the relay disappear under the head stock.
OMFG is it loud.... Same as a Stebel Nautilus if you've heard one of those... Twin tone and sounds like a freight train is on the way at 126db....
Piccies tomorrow when it's light
