I've been toying with buying some Hood jeans but recently came across these.

Has anybody got any and if so what are they like?

They seem very good value for money. :nenau

I fancied a pair of the Dragging Jean Urban Combats but my local Dragging Jeans dealer (A Harley Davidson shop) only had them in sizes to fit Harley Riders so were far too big for me so I couldn't try them on. I had a look at the way the jeans were put together and they seemed good.

Yesterday I was in my local J&S and noticed the jeans you posted about and there didn't seem to be that much difference between them and the Draggin Jeans ones except the J&S ones were half the price. Pity they didn't do them in Urban combat style or I would have bought a pair.

I bought a pair last summer for a Route 66 trip. They are comfortable and, as you say, very well priced. Seem to wash well and after a years wear no signs of damage.

I bought some hood Jeans a month or so back. Their service was excellent - no hassle or charge when I asked to swap the first pair for a smaller size. The Jeans are good with full length kevlar lining (unlike the ones in the picture) and with the optional knee armour they feel safe too.

In the warm weather I prefer wearing them to my dianese gator goretex pants
