Is there any way of desensitising the keys on a keyboard for someone who doesn't have very good fine motor control? A friend of mine has Huntingtons and and types with a stutter because she can't control her hands very well. Here's an example of her typing:

myy typingg iss goinng worsee alonngg with mmy hhands butt i will keepp tryinngg myy bestt to tyype so thhat i cann keepp talkinng too youu all:)xx

I think there is a way of doing this and I would be really really grateful if someone could tell me how?

Isn't there a screen based program that would allow use of the mouse to select letters? Or perhaps one of those new touch pad tablet things? Or use of an automatic spell corrector program?

How about a speach recognition program and dictate to the thing?

Huntingtons means she has very poor control over her movements and she can't use the mouse. The other solutions are fine if you have money.... Thanks for the thoughts though, I'll suggest them to her as well. :thumb2
