Desperate help re Quest...

I Hope you gps guru's can help....

Downloaded the speed cameras to the unit and lost the pre loaded maps of uk and Ireland

I have tried to remove speed camera data from unit but it won't? When I reload uk maps from mapsource it says its taking 164mb off memory. The unit came with these maps at only 13mb

Can I restore it back to the original settings?

I have read the manual and scanned this section but can't find the answers.

Jon..oft repeated mistake.

When you download a map or an overlay (which is basically a transparent map) you have to upload all the maps you want as well as the speed camera overlay AT THE SAME TIME...go back, select the maps you want from CN6 or whatever you have on your PC, and select the speed camera overlay as well (from the drop down menu) then upload them all to the unit.......

If you only select the overlay, it overwrites the maps and you end up with what you have, a transparent map showing only the speed cameras.

Make sense???

Is it a Quest or Quest2?

Are your maps unlocked?

How do you know you have lost the maps? Have you zoomed in close?

Have you zoomed in an area where your 164mb of (mapsource maps) were downloaded?

How much memory is left on the Quest?
