Meeting up Devils Bridge 11.00 Sunday for a ride back through Lakes. Kirkstone, Embleton, Whinlatter and Lorton Valley. Probably a bit of semi off road - Lorton - Mosser - Loweswater back roads. Proper GS stuff

Sounds like a good ride out but sadly Mrs Mort has booked me for painting all weekend:( (only 3 rooms to go:blast )

Was that neck of the woods a couple of weeks ago....it was good to revisit after several years ....

Surprised at how quiet the roads were apart from the usual tourist centres Ambleside and Windermere....

Hardnot, Wrynose and Kirkstone were fun...:thumb2

The Bridge was busy too....20 mins for the obligatory Bacon/Sausage butty.. :thumb

You should have seen it on Easter Sunday, probably that long to walk back from where you've parked the bike :(

What is amazing is how many nice roads there are around which seem to be barred to bikes with riders who have humps on their backs
