Hi all,

i'm more a of a reader than a poster, but i need a bit of help & can't find much in the search...

I have an 2006 F650GS & the lcd display on the clock & trip counter have started playing up this morning...

the full storey:
Saturday, wheel the bike out, washed it, wheeled back in the garage.
didn't notice any problems, but didn't actual make a point of looking either.

Tuesday, got the bike out to go to work & both the LCD screens were very 'pale' with the digits quite difficult to make out, although all the info was correct...clock telling the right time & the trip counter was at the right distance. Intially i thought the battery could be low, but the bike has been used regularly. it started up on 2nd attemp (normally starts 1st time) but with the engine running the display still stayed pale.

After about 10-15 miles of riding the display started the flick back to full resolution, then go pale again...so i suspected a didgy connection intp the dash, but from what i can see all seems fine...

The rest of the instrument panel; dials, lights etc all appear to be fine.

Anyone else had similar problems?

Thanks
Mark

panic over....for a while, it seems to have fixed itself today...i'll mention it at the next service.

Mine does more or less the same whenever I give her a good wash. It rights itself after a day or so.
