Why don’t you have both ?
I have a F650st and find it great in London but a real pain in the
on long journeys; a friend offered me his YamaKazi FJ1200 rice rocket at a good price.
This is great on long trips but in London that’s another story, it’s heavy, it doesn’t have a nice tight steering lock like the F650, and it’s a real pain in the wrist & arms.
After trying to make up my mind, which one should go for the last year I still can’t decide?
I did wonder whether a GS1000/1150 would be able to replace both, Unfortunately finances are not as good as I would like, so it’s on hold until I manage to get all the loans & credit cards paid off. I daren’t take one out for a test run, until they are all paid up (only another year to go) then maybe just maybe !
Oh by the way I think the F650GS is a great looking bike, but the 1100/1150GS has still got to be the ugliest thing on the road. BUT hay I’m no oil painting, & if it does what it says on the tin who am I to complain.
