Now if you didn't ride a lardy PD I might have taken you seriously :D

Thats a great bike and was clearly put together before everybody jumped on the GS bandwagon. The only part of that bike thats GS is the rear sub frame. Better still it was built and used for a purpose..Great stuff :thumb2

I agree wholeheartedly Rob, and I WAS the underbidder on the bike :augie
And if it's good enough for me, it's good enough for any Beemer airhead..

I like it a lot too :thumb2

And at that price, good thing I didn't know of it before the bidding ended :eek

ok ......i may have over cooked it a bit yesterday i think i was avin a bad hair day.:blast
but i don like the front end, think the forks should be conventional not upside downers, tanks not nice, r100rs badge on engine needs removing, headlight not pretty ,id paint the frame blue too, hand guards.......:aidan
i do like twin shockers (wp) longer swing arm and the stubby pipes though :thumb:thumb

I am always suspicions of bikes that don't look like " riders " and of people who refuse to answer questions before they are asked.

There is an unmistakable patina to a well used bike and that one doesn't have it.

FWIW I have ridden a few airheads with after market forks and suspension and none were worth a toss - it inst easy to re engineer a bikes suspension. What works well for some madman as he charges flat out across the African desert inst necessary the best set up for an everyday rider

The last HPN replica I tried with White Power both ends was terrible , and the owner , who was riding my bike at the same time , was clearly embarrassed at how bad it was - so much so that he changed it back to the standard fork with Magnum insert/Ohlins shock set up which is proven to work just about as well as can be expected right out of the box.
