Also "Indian" has been owned by a succession of English companies starting with AMC from 1960 until 2011 when the brand name was sold to Polaris!!!

and they like to think they are Merkin motorcycles.....

I did. My mother was a Davidson, so I might well be related to the creator of these things.......

The Davidson ancestral home is in Aberlemeno near Brechin in Scotland, it has been restored as it was in the day and turned in to an HD visitor attraction, it had its grand opening last Aug.
