Besides the thermal liner in the the Streetguar, what are the differences between the Comfortshell and the Streetguard 3 trousers. They are both waterproof, they use the same C-change membrane technology, and both have the NP protectors. So why is the Streetguard 3 that much more expensive?

Thanks.

Hi,

The Streetguard 3 Cordura outer material seems to be thicker and stronger, has "Cold-Black" heat-reflecting dye and 2 connecting zips - one small and one full length.
Most importantly for me, it comes in short, fat, b*st*rd as well as the regular and tall, thin sizes.

HTH,

John

Thanks for the info. Some have even complained that the Streetguard material was so thick that the trousers were stiff. Also, I've read that the black tended to fade to some brownish colour. Is it true?

Streetgaurd 3

For the money, IMHO its about as good as you get. RUKKA are the equal, but alot more money. There are reports of fading to brown, but this should be replaced under the 2 year warranty. The trousers soften up after a while, much the same way leathers do. Change the hip armour for HG hipprotec.....makes it easier to swing your leg over the bike!!

Thanks, Richie. Since I am only 5'7" this business of swinging the leg over the saddle is not to be taken lightly :)
