Differences between the 'mark 2' 2008 GS and the 'mark 1' 2004-2007. Mark 1 better?!

Is there a 2004 with a servo still working? I thought mine was the last . Then it failed last year. Plumbed direct now.

I literally cant wait till I can afford another bike. My 2004 is not very fast . Im incredibly board out of my skin riding it now.

My 2006 still has a working servo/ abs system at 110.000 miles. Never been a problem (touchwood). Also on its original clutch and alternator. (Though some say they have a built in fail time)

Hi
I’ve had 07, 09, 14lc
But went back from LC to 12TC.
Best IMHO
Agree on handlebars could be farther back but makes it’s own problems re hoses cables. I got a 40mm higher blocks from tannerman on this forum. He still does them. Makes world of difference.
Also agree re side stand. I’ve only got 15mm foot at present but keep meaning to get or make a bigger one as sometimes can be a workout pulling it up from low angle of parked on slope.
Anyone know of a much larger foot extender that still fits.
Never bored on any of them.
Regards jim

road tyres and good aftermarket rear shock will let you take every corner you can get round on a std bike plus 20mph

pretty sure that change with get the adrenalin up a notch

I noticed after 2004 possibly 05 , the exhaust rusts. My 04 has very good quality stainless and has zero corrosion , even after multiple years of winter commuting
