Well protected and very bright. It fills the gap between main and dip beam nicely. I live in the middle of the countryside with very twisty roads. with the main beam and the spot on, it lights up the road nicely. The only nuisance factor is that the beak cast a shadow that bobs up and down with the suspension.

I think this may start a flood (no pun intended ;-)) of enquiries.
First off - are you willing to share info on the mount?
I remember you saying you had drilled thru the mudguard - did you fabricate some sort of bracket.

I have no problems sharing the mounting details. All I have done is to bolt it through the top of the plastic mudguard. The Eyeball doesn't weigh much, and the mudguard is more than capable of supporting its weight. I have drilled the 6mm hole just in front of the fork brace. There is a small plateau that the foot of the lamp fits on nicely. The lamp is also supplied with a sticky pad to make sure it stays put. I have run the wiring up the speedo cable and mounted the relay under the tank. I have mounted the switch on the handlebars on the left. It is wired into the headlamp main beam and goes out on dip.
If anyone else is interested I could talk to PIAA and put some kits together. Normally they are sold in pairs but I could probably sort something out. This one was just an odd unit I had kicking about.

Ouch.
Wasn't sure whether to post about it.
So.........
Discovered last weekend that the welds holding the exhaust bracket to the footrest hanger had sheared off
Can was hanging off only supported by the connection to the Y-piece.
Straight into Rainbow - warranty job to replace the whole rear sub-frame.
Got the usual exemplary service including:
Loan 1150 GS
My bike turned round in five (5!!) days
Top spannering by non other than Shaun himself

It's been said before, and it will be said again, top f****n place.
