The Armoury down by the river is rather nice.
If you're looking for a nice place out of town, the Riverside Inn is just up the road from where you are going to be staying.
For a little drive out from there, try Ironbridge and the The Woodbridge
Or a little closer to you The Mytton & Mermaid

Well my wife enjoyed the Sea bass and I woofed down the mixed grill. Most excellent
