Hi all,

I read that this screen is made of polycarbonate and that a tube of superglue should sort this problem out, rather than the screen repair kits (that I guess are made for glass). Anyone tried this with success?

Cheers!

Just buy a new one.

We're still waiting for the pics...🤔 Chip, star crack etc etc... I've done running repairs on screens but if we have no starting point it's hard to recommend...😉

Sorry for my lateness here and thanks for the suggestions, if I can put off getting a new screen for a while or until a bargain appears it’d be great.

I’ve tried with a regular car window glass repair kit, it that didn’t work - so last ditch attempt with superglue?!

I’m back in favour with the bike after I got the John Gemi chip, dominator exhaust, dropped the cat. then got a decent service. It’s pulling harder than ever (suits you sir) and really happy with it. It really is a do it all, all weather bike ( important for Scandinavia). Just need the screen sorted and the left hand heated grip working.

Yep, that's a bit of a twat of a chip... Firstly you'd want to make sure the cracks don't spread and you'll not get rid like a glass chip repair... Certainly a good runny super glue like Gorilla will keep it solid... I've repaired broken screens with plumbers pipe glue but only when broken...

I’ll give it a shot
