Hi,
Wanted to make sure IE7 was upto-date so did an install.
Now find I can't get rid of the You have opened a new tab message when I click a new tab, even by clicking the "don't show this again" box.
Found this on Google, but there must be a simpler way, shirley?
Waiting hopefully,
Bin
Disable the annoying "You've opened a new tab" screen from appearing in Internet Explorer 7.
1. Click Start, type REGEDIT and press ENTER
2. Click the plus sign next to HKEY_CURRENT_USER
then Software
then Microsoft
then Internet Explorer
then TabbedBrowsing
3. Right-click on TabbedBrowsing and select New-->DWORD Value and name it ShowTabsWelcome
4. Double-click ShowTabsWelcome, and set its value data to 0
5. Restart Windows
