disabling side -stand disabler ??

Its actually easier than all that. Take the sidestand off. Pull the switch off the peg. Turn the switch around so that it is "on" and tie it up out of the way with a cable tie. Put the sidestand back on. Easily reversable if you sell the bike or change your mind. Phil

Dont worry about reversing it when you sell the bike.
when you are dead, it is unlikely to worry you.

Or... undo the connector and put a thin piece of wire in there, then plug the connector back.

Connect the side stand switch to a high intensity LED on the "dashboard" best of both worlds. It wont cut the engine and you wont ride off with it down, Dave
