Disappointed with Altberg boots

Got a pair of Roadsters. They leak a bit, but boy, are they comfortable.

I hope it's not a case of retiring craftsmen, no training for the lads who are coming up, and "we don't care".

Now I’m no boot maker, but it was pretty obvious, that part of the boot was poorly made. It’s a real shame because I really wanted to ‘fly the flag’ and wear at least something ‘British Made’.

So, it’s back to the cheapo Italian Bobo boots that have served me so well these passed few years (and only cost £60)

Thats a bit worrying I was just thinking of getting a pair of Altbergs, but your right about Bobo's bought a pair years ago, good going over with Nikwax and theyve been comfortable and waterproof for miles n miles
