Could someone confirm please if the following is possible.

I have multiple routes in the MRA Route Planner - these are arranged into trips. So each trip folder contains multiple routes.
When I open the MRA navigation App on my phone it displays everything that I have.
If I am totally offline then all routes are greyed out (fine with this)
To Navigate offline I sync the routes and then they become available to use.

Is there anyway I can just display the synced routes on my phone to make that particular trip easier to locate rather than having to scroll down every trip folder.

i.e. ‘Hide’ the trips i do not want to use

1. Do you really need to synchronise all your routes?

How many do you need at your fingertips at any one time?

2. Create a folder, named AA and copy into it the routes that you actually need to use. When you’ve used the route and no longer need it, delete the copy.

Hi

No I do not need to sync all my routes - just the ones I need for that particular trip- but I see what you are suggesting.

The folder AA will be at the top - so no need to scroll.

Should have thought of that - thanks

the other thing to do with old files whether GPX, insurance documents, important emails etc is to create a single folder archive. You then nest each trip folder in the archive.
In your MR apps you should only have two folders visible in the outer tier of the file structure, the Old Routes folder and the Currently Active folder.

I keep a few top level folders - UK / Europe / Local (like for regular ride outs etc) but always create a "trip" folder for an upcoming trip, and as suggested Archive it....

...As I now use a Zumo XT I can just send the routes from my phone (MRA app) to the Nav in seconds, so I often pre-create all the routes for a trip, sometimes with variations, for example if heading to Luxembour (something i have done a dozen times) I have a preferred longer route, plus a shorter route in case I am running a bit late, and a faster version using more main roads in case it is raining / I am badly delayed.

In the days of coying GPX files onto earlier devices I would copy the lot, then delete them as the days go by, now I just send the route I want on the day from phone to XT, delete the ones I did not need from MRA, and at the end of the trip I move the trip flder into the archive as a record of the routes I actually used....

...And all the original route options still exist in my "Luxembourg" folder for next time.

The great feature of the Zumo, when I used to use one, was that if you’d set a departure date on a route it would automatically be at the top of the route list on the correct day.

I requested this feature for MRA, since it already allows you to set route dates, but it never came to fruition.
