Does anybody know wot the usb socket is connected to

Garmin 2650.
When I pull the usb socket out of its socket, the socket itself comes out a few mills.
Coincidently, my computer is no longer recognising the device.
Does anyone know if it is connected to the circuitry with wires, or is the socket mounted on a circuit board. If it is ... I think its pulled itself off.
On hols from wednesday. Ive got most routes transferred already, so its not the end of the world.

usually hard soldered to the mainboard - so i guess the solder joints have broken.

don't pull it out though - or it will trigger a nuclear explosion and the end of the world
