i have a small (laptop dimensions) external hard drive for backing up my photos.
a friend of mine accidentally spilt beer over the drive and now it is not being recignised by my computer. i have looked at the drive, and the pcb on the base is corroded with beer. i bought another drive ( same make and model) however it was a slightly different build number. transferred pcbs across and no luck.
can anbody strip the drive plates and transfer the data to a new hard drive for me, or recommedn somebody who can?
any help would be much appreciated, as this drivwe has many digital camera photos, which i stupidly didnt back up.
thanks
