Does Savanna 1 GoreTex insert go into Savanna 2 trousers?

A nice easy one for me. The Savanna 1 trousers uses press studs to secure the liner to waistband, but the Savanna 2 uses zips.

It's sad tho, Savanna 2 Gore insert cost a fortune from the shop while there are Savanna 1 insert bargains at the eBay...

I was in The Cardiff Bmw dealer today they have a selection of new gore tex liners in the sale £42 each they had some for Savanna 2 trousers but I'm not sure of the sizes

Maybe worth a look ? If they don't have your sizes maybe they could order for you at a good price ?

Yes, it's the same seller selling the Savanna 1 GoreTex inserts with baragain price and the number i need. But it has only Savanna 1...

I guess i'll start thinking about modifying Savanna 1 inserts to suit into Savanna 2, coz it'll be still probably much cheaper than to buy the S2 inserts from the shop in the end.

Will let you know how easy is it if it goes this way.

I would re-think this...

I had the Savanna1 with liners - very good EXCEPT that the outer fabric still gets wet and so everything gets heavy and cold.

I bought a gore-tex oversuit and much prefer it to the liners. I wouldn't go back to them now. The oversuit keeps your Savanna dry and so keeps you warmer. It's also easier to take on/off so very well suited to the constantly changing UK weather. Not sure how variable Estonia is
