That's expensive - I've just seen a 2001 1150GS with 20k miles for £4250. The 1150 is worth it for the gearbox improvements alone.

Quite a few GS's there.

I've seen a few "early" 1150 bikes at this price lately. What they dont have at this is this price is many extras. Such as engine bars, ABS, top box or paniers, heated grips etc.

OK, thanks guys. I've decided to look for a 2000/2001 1150 with panniers, and some other extras. I think I can stretch to £5-5.5k. I need to flog my current bike first but will probably lurk for a while, esp in the For Sale bit!
