Dolomites Pictures From 2010 and 2011

Hi Cooperman, you know I follow in your wheel tracks :D watching a holiday program on Montenegro, that looks dam fine. So many places to visit, so little time. Where you off too this year.:Motomartin

With Mrs C we are having a more relaxed 2 weeks staying on Lake Lucerne and Lake Garda.

I've then got a potential week with my brother which is when I'm thinking of Croatia. The obvious problem is the distance but I have been given a tip ;)

Thanks to zac_04 :thumby:

This year they run from Koper to Amsterdam, so get on the train in the afternoon and be back in Amsterdam by lunch the following day. I would prefer to ride but when time is limited this gives you some options.

Hopefully it will work out :)

Cooperman that sounds excellent on both counts. At our end I'm having a couple a days in the Lake District on the bike but all me girls are coming. August 1 week in France in a gite no. Bike:eek: daughter no 2 and hubby to be. Julie and I subbing it all and a wedding to pay for a back end of this year. A man can dream of bike trips though.
Will keep an eye out for your trip report sir.:beerjug: :thumby:

Andrew

One day I will be following in your footsteps, but as it wil be a while before I start subbing marriages i need to keep riding :)

Good luck with the wedding :thumby:

Excellent news, will await your trip report and pictures, full run down on how the new bike runs. Have a top trip sir, take your thermal layers. :thumby:

Will do.:thumb I went on the webcams for some of the passes yesterday and they're still covered in snow.:blast Hopefully, they'll be clear in 3 weeks, but I'm not banking on it.:comfort:D

Any chance of links for some useful webcams please.

Robert, this is my favourite one - http://edelweissspitze.panomax.at/
Edelweissspitze is the view point above Grossglockner. I've been watching the snow disappear for the last week or so :thumb
It's a bit overcast today but there's been some lovely days recently.

The rest of the Grossglockner webcams are here :
http://www.grossglockner.at/de/service/webcams2/

Here's a few more here in the same area, although they're not as good as the above :
http://www.gerlosstrasse.at/de/wasserwunderwelt/webcams/
http://www.nockalmstrasse.at/de/service/webcam/
http://www.villacher-alpenstrasse.at/de/service/webcam/

I'm sure there's more on some of the passes you're going to do, just google them & see what you can find.

On a slightly different note, I fitted the Hattech yesterday. Just need to sort a Vario plate now & I'm good to go :JB
