DPF cleaning. What are the groups thoughts??

That’s true but different brands add different additives to make it their own. Talking to a guy who works for Esso he said that’s the difference between supermarket fuel and theirs, the additives.
He only uses super diesel as it keeps the engine cleaner as well as petrol.

At what stage do they carry this out?

I have also been told this.

But I have also been told by a friend who was a fuel delivery driver for Shell......and he says it's not the case.

We have at least one Petrol tanker driver here
Perhaps he could confirm what he picks up at the refinery?

I get DPF warning light from time to time on my VW Transporter. The solution (as per owners manual) is to stick it in 4th gear and drive at 60mph for 15-20 minutes. Works every time. Never needed a cleaning session of any sort.
