DR 250 SHC

I've been informed of another DR 250 for sale & can touch the floor on this one so it's looking good to buy it.

It's H reg - manufacture date of 1991, registered 1999

I've been trying to find information about it to ensure it's not a bodged together bike. I've done a vehicle seach based on the licence plate which returned ok but I need to validate the engine no & frame with the V5 document.

If the engine no & frame match the V5 does that definitely mean the bike hasn't ever been modified?

What has also doubted me is that it has Seat Height Control and I can only find history of this being put on the 350 models in 1992.

the bike could get a new engine or frame and then just up date the v5c with the new numbers. i have done that with my bike.

I obtained the DR - it's all legally checked out.
After a bit of research it seems there weren't many of the SHC models imported into the UK.

Does anyone have a manual that covers this model or point me in the direction of one online?
I need a part number for a speedo cable. It seems that due to the USD forks, I need one longer than for a standard DR.
