apologies that its not gs related but have any of you any(sensible)advice
my 95 dr650 intermitently runs very rough wich causes a real teeth rattling vibe.
if it was a twin you would swear it was off a cylinder.
what i am thinking is that its an ignition problem.
you likely know these are bikes are twin spark and the ht leads are part of the coils.
should i invest in new coils.is this likely to be the problem.
do coils gradually break down or do they just die all at once.
these bikes do have a balancer shaft but this is gear driven and if this was causing the bother i would imagine it would be constant and not intermittent.
any advice you can give would be great
cheers,kyle
