Just bought my first GS, an Adv. My previous Jap chook chasers had a water trap under the fuel tap. I have had water in the fuel problems when filling up from 44 gal drums in remote parts of this country.
Is there a water trap on a GS?
How do I drain water out of the GSAdv tank without disconnecting a fuel line?
I can't find any info in the hand book.

Why you wanna do it without disconnecting a fuel line ??

How about pull the fuel feeds direct to the injectors off - then turn the ignition on and off or flick the kill switch to fire the pump?

if you've got water for sure - take the tank off.

Had this prob recently, sure I got bad fuel at local garage.Only solution was to drain tank.I couldn't empty it all out and had to sponge residue out through fuel filter access panel on right inside of tank and allow to air dry (make sure you mark the position of the panel before removal..I didnt and had a lot of pissin about to do thereafter..I'm now very good at taking that part off and refitting!
