Can anyone tell me why the two email adresses on THIS PAGE work fine in IE7 but in Firefox they don't work properly...the '.com' bit is a live link but the rest isn't?? :nenau

The code looks right and the adresses work on another page here but the ones on the contact page are obviously important to me :)

They work just fine to me in both IE 7 & Firefox 2.0

Hmmm..thanks for that...I've just checked mine and for some reason I'm still on v1.5xx on this laptop......Hopefully most people who are switched on enough to be using Firefox will be on v2.0 (unlike me  )

Thanks Dan:thumb2

Make a blank page with that code and without all the other stuff/crap

I have the same code in my own pages and it works fine so maybe something else your doing like CSS or whatever is affecting it.

Good Luck

Yep you have a code problem. I have just noticed that if I slide the mouse along the text at the far right hand side it works....

Check out your div codes / Percentages etc and there will be a conflict in the amount of space you allocated and the space used...

I'm not a lier :) here are two screenshots from Firefox for both links

your links are working fine

Cheers Richie.....there are an awful lot of empty layers that I've never really understood tbh....I think it was something to do with the way the first few pages were built...then I've started from scratch learning Dreamweaver and copied, edited and added pages but on the way upset some of these legacy layers.

What you're saying makes total sense 'cos I've just converted the whole site from 600 wide to 800....If I haven't enlarged a layer I wasn't seeing, it could easily be obstructing 3/4 of what should be a lik :)

Dan......you did confuse me I must admit...read the initial post though mate......

exactly as you show in your pics.....but the bit of the email link that works is only the .com bit rather than the whole address....if someone just clicks on the first part of the address, it doesn't work :)

send me the page at dan @ mcx9 dot com , I will try to fix it if you want , now I got it :)
