Got this earlier:
It's a great cause.
And the weather's lookin' good
This coming Sunday, April the 11th there will be a breakfast run to
the Wicklow Heather in Laragh. The run is to raise funds and awareness
for Down Syndrome Ireland, whose goal is to significantly improve the
quality of life of persons with Down syndrome, to ensure that each
individual is developed to his/her full potential and to help people
with Down syndrome make their own futures as bright and independent as
possible.
The meeting point for the ride out will be the Galloping Green pub on
Dublin's Stillorgan Road (between St John of Gods Hospital and Whites
Cross), and will depart at 9.30am sharp. While we certainly won’t be
dictating a route we will have two suggestions, one more direct route
as well as a slightly more adventurous one for those of you who like
that sort of thing. All bike types are welcome, the pace will be
gentle, bring a pillion and a camera as the weather promises to be
fantastic.
After breakfast we will have a collection, all of which will go
directly to the charity. If you need a receipt please drop me a line
and I’ll arrange it for you.
Please feel free to forward this mail to your motorcycling friends.
See you on Sunday,
Maeve and Paul.
PS;
To ensure your continuing popularity please ensure that you are
compliant with the road traffic act(s) and have a full tank of petrol.
