Just a few suggestions that you may already of thought of (military planning!) but I didn't see on your site...since it seems like you will be travelling alone now.
Post links to your site and travel in UKGSer (done, good) and also in ADV RIDER (advrider.com ; perhaps order a few stickers), and ask if anyone is available to join you along the way for a stage of the journey.
Perhaps then a local rider in Iran or one of the -stans joins you for part of the trip to show you around and your trip is then partially accompanied in stages. A little local knowledge/help would help. Otherwise you miss half the local sites flying by on the highways...
I take it your friends at Gecko and BMW Dubai have given you some crash courses and practice in changing tires and roadside repair? I didn't see a list of tools/hardware you will be carrying but I assume you have a basic tool roll / electric pump / spare spokes etc.
