Heading back to my roots this weekend to the Auld Grey Toon Dunfermline. Not been for a while.

Seeing the mighty Skids (minus the late great Stuart Adamson) at the Alhambra :guitarist

Planning on maybe taking the bike - anyone recommend a B&B or similar preferably with bike parking for Saturday night?

Alternatively, anyone know if the Pitbauchlie House Hotel has bike parking, or at the least some railings or similar for me to put a chain around?

I know the Pitbauchlie, been loads of times, but all years ago, before I considered bike parking matters, so I can't remember if there's anything to chain a bike to.

My memory is also shot to bits :rob , so the picture I have in mind of the outside of the hotel may be some other bally place :blast

From experience, if one 'phones a hotel to ask about secure bike parking, and/or something solid to chain it to, unless you speak to an actual biker (chances = slim), they've no idea what you're on about ....

Ach weel...
