I've had mine on for about 4k miles. Mainly 2up use, with camping stuff, in Germany, Austria, etc.
Brilliant tyres. Warm up quickly, light handling, absolutely no frightening moments even when hammering it. Torrential rain, baking sun, good roads and bad. So pleased with them that I've ordered a pair for the 1200S.
Only slight downside is a slight resonating noise in 5th gear at 45mph. My bike has do that with certain other tyres too.

Rear looks good for another 3k or so; the front is hardly worn.

Replaced the PR4's on my 1200R. Very pleased thus far, but to be fair it's a "fair weather bike" so it doesn't see wet roads, so can't comment on wet grip.
All I can add however, is that when my 1200RT wears out the PR4's currently fitted, it too will get the Roadsmart 3.

Stanley.. whats your estimated life on the rear, and has it squared significantly ?
My pilots will be done after my trip up north and I will need new rubber for a trip to the vosges in Sept

Ignore that Stanley you answered my question.. apologies

Hi unibar,
The wear on the rear is looking good. It has hardly squared off; it's more the shoulders that are just starting to cup.
This cupping is nowhere like as bad as I've had PR3s and PR4s go.
