Hi All,

My conti road attacks are nearly at their end and was thinking of getting some of them there Roadsmarts.

Just wanted to know if anyone else is riding with them at the mo and what they thought of them.

Cheers
Johnny

I have them and they are fantastic wet or dry. You can lean that much further than the Battlewings and with more confidence. I got a few more miles from the Battlewings though - I'm guessing at 5K on a Roadsmart rear when I got 6K on the Battlewing. Prefer the grip to mileage anyday though.

I changed from Bridgestone BT021s to RoadSmarts on my CBR600F commuter. I do 13000 per year on it that so far RoadSmarts have been the most confidence inspiring tyres I have ever had on it. First time ever I can let cold rear skid on throtle exiting roundabouts, because the tyre gives so much feel.
Cannot see why they wouldn't work on GS too. My Tourances will change to RoadSmarts as soon as I'm back from my "softroad" trip to Finland.

putting michelin annakee 2s back on as i find these offer emense grip dry/wet and you get top milage through the tyre without loosing grip/confidence as a tyre should be from new to knackerd,my 08gs gets toured -thraped and have just removed for a tour and they had covered 7000 miles with 3mm still left in the middle with grip still ,ace as from new tread depth is 7mm for a rear, you can only trust your own instincts:augie :JB

5000 miles on this pari of Roadsmarts so far... 3300 of those in the last 2 weeks...:D.. They've swuared off a bit on the rear, but no surpising with all the motorway work we've been doing, and there's about a mil left till the wear marker on the rear... Will give them another 500 miles before theyre getting borderline legal...

However theyve never let go .... Love them... If you don't go offroad.. get road tyres... simples... :thumb:thumb

Rode back up to St Andrews, where I am working, from Cambridge this morning and tomorrow morning I am taking her to Cupar Motorcycles for a pair of Roadsmarts. £230 fitted to the bike inclusive of valves etc.
Looking forward to trying them out. Conti Trail Attack at trhe moment which are more square than my mother.

We had a set of Road Smarts fitted prior to riding to Mugello.

Wet or Dry they are amazing, pegs scraping everywhere and even the pannier in the Dolomites:D

The previous tyres were Bridgestones and these are a great step forward

roadsmarts front wheel

I've looked on the dunlop site and also FWR and they don't list a 19" front tyre option,, is this generally stocked or is this a special order?

i've done 2800 miles on roadsmarts in last 2 weeks on trip to alps and corsica. they seem very smotth running compared to conti trail attacks that replaced and seem to grip just as well in the dry and prob better in wet. what i cant understand though is the fact i have a few mils on unused tyre at the edges (commonly known as chicken strips) but ive never had this on other tyres. is it me turning into a wussy or is the profile a bit more extreame at the edges...any thoughts?

I have bought mine from Roundandblack on Ebay - they always seem to be listed whenever I need them.
