Speaking to staff on the Dunlop stand at the NEC and the tr91 is being updated , new tyre is released in January and is now the Trailsmart, it is available in the sizes for the wc models and apparently promises better mileage than the tr91 but no loss of wet and dry weather grip.

Lets hope so I use tr91's on the tc and had them on the 1150 and yes they may wear quicker than some but the wet and dry weather performance is excellent imho better than tourances, anakee 3's, trail attacks and Pirelli's that I've used

Good news on the new tyre. For me the TR91 was my tyre of choice for the TC..very stable, great grip in all conditions....no tram lining etc BUT struggled to get more than 5k out of the rear....
