Dutch exhaust system????

Hi All,
I am a recent convert to the GS after a long line of sports bikes. Why did I bang my head on a brick wall for so long???

Anyways, I have seen somewhere a dutch exhaust system that sits entirely under the engine/gearbox. There are no mufflers on either side of the bike! Looks really schmick!! AND totally frees up both sides of the bike for panniers.
Does anyone know anything about this??
The only possible downside may be water ingress when crossing streams.

Off to the World Supers at Philip Island this w/e with a dozen mates!!

you can achieve the same result by simply removing the muffler cannister all together and slipping on an automotive chromed silencer tip, all for under £5, without any appreciable sound increase, and it's fully reversible.
