Dynamic breaking

Hi all, I have a 23 reg 1250 RT. Can anyone advise, is it possible to retro fit the bmw dynamic breaking system through a software upgrade? A few years ago I had hill assist added to a different RT and that was enabled by a software upgrade.
Any advice welcome

Why would you want to break your bike ?

Assuming you mean braking, does your bike have the Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) fitted? I believe this hardware device is needed to provide the functions you desire.
Did all bikes of that year leave the factory with the unit or did it need to be added as an accessory?
For my 2026 R1200RS, it was only included as part of the SE Sport spec.

What spec is it? Might be worth checking with your dealer to see if they can see what was on the original factory build order?

Just pull the brake lever
Soft , hard , very hard , FUCKING hard
OMG OMG,OMG phew hard

Exactly what is it that’s breaking on your bike? My22 GSA has hill start assist and whilst it is useful whilst stationary I sometimes forget I have it. Is it this that is broken?

Take a look on the US site. May well be someone who has added the cornering ABS.
They don't take the piss there either.
