Hello all
just a quick question while at work-what are the premium and dynamic packs?

I have searched the net and can no info on them.

Regards
Brendy

Don't quote be verbatum but;

Dynamic pack; includes traction control, ABS, and ESA

Premium pack;' includes on board 'puter, heated grip and chrome exhaust

:blagblah:blagblah:blagblah:blagblah

Something along those lines I think :nenau

If you go to the BMW site and then click on 'Build your Bike'.

it all becomes very clear

Dynamic pack - ASC (stability control), ABS, tyre pressure control
Premium pack - Chrome exhaust, heated grips, ESA, LED indicators (tho i think these are standard on '09 models), computer, pannier fastenings; on the GSA inc foglights

As karlp said go to the bmw site here - http://www.bmw-motorrad.co.uk/uk/en/index.html - and build your bike... keep an oxygen mask at hand for the prices :)

Blinkin' flip...medic...medic

It is pretty dear, but thanks for the info guys.

well that's the 'official' price, search the dealers and make a few calls, there's deals to be had out there! I actually got my 08 GS from a honda dealership (Dobles - great to deal with, and the added advantage of another tosser, Hondated, had been looking at it and was able to give me the thumbs up) - was 2 months old, had 370 miles on the clock, £1600 off the list price AND they gave me what i wanted for my zx10r, unseen. AND delivered it to Holyhead. Mighty :aidan

Hope I'm not speaking out of turn, but I reckon if you spot something in the UK and can't get over to see it, there'll be the offer from a tosser or two to go cast an eye over it (bloody everywhere!! :D ) :thumb

Thanks Spikey
I have seen a load of lovely bikes on the bmw site. The problem is that I'm hoping to do a trade in on my bike-due to the current economic climate it should should be quicker and less hassle. Have e-mailed Peter in Glasgow and he reckons he could do a deal on my Vara.
Great idea about getting another tosser to go check a machine or two out!

We did a great deal with Rainbow in Rotherham, they took my R1100S as part ex at a price I was very happy with and the service couldn't have been better. They are keeping the bikes for us until mid Jan when we moce up to Halifax. They did say that BM arn't building any new Adventures until April, although I don't know if that is true.
