My 1150 creaks/squeels as it pulls away first thing. This lasts for about 30 seconds and doesn't appear again during the day. Seems to be related to letting the clutch out as pulling it back in shuts it up. It doesnt happen when not moving but does come in when still as soon as attempt is made to pull away. This seemed to appear after its 6,000 service and noise seems to be getting louder. Any ideas?

mine does it too!!
i read somewhere its the alternator belt and its o.k.
it could be my knees though!

Thanks Flooky. Was worried that it might be a bearing or something. Dealership told me over the phone that they all made noise as normal but I think he had the injector clattler in mind.

You typically get the same thing on cars when the fanbelt/alternator drive belt is getting worn / too loose / wearing out. Again, usually 1st thing in the am when everything's cold.

You might want to think about checking/replacing.
