can anyone tell me if these early issues, that some experienced, were fixed by firmware or did you need a complete new 20s? If you needed a new one is there any difference in the model number? Sena are not quick with answering questions!

Have a look at their website...if you find their support section, look at the 20s fora ...they are now up to 15xx model no, the early 14xx nos are the ones to avoid it would seem..

I think 1406 and 1407 (June and July 2014 production) numbers had the real issues. Swapped my 1406 pair for 1408 and no more interference when using ear buds.

I still find the fm radio is pants though, but not a big concern to me.

Thanks for replies, I have just ordered a twin pack and they are expected in stock at the end of the month so I will be getting the latest model.

Recently changed from the SMH10 to the 20s. We're regretting it a bit. My wife's unit is frequently turning itself off. They've released 2 firmware updates since purchase and the issue still isn't sorted. There is a big thread in the Sena forum with many people reporting the same issue.

There seems to be no pattern. She's had the issue when we're out together, when she's alone on her bike, with GPS playing music and without. Sometimes it's a couple of times in 5 mins then OK for a couple of hours, others it's more spaced out and regularish in frequency.

It's a shame, as we found the SMH10 to be rock solid and really reliable. We went to the 20s for the multi-tasking and slightly increased range.
