Dropped in on the miniature railway at East Gilling this afternoon, if your not to grown up, go down and enjoy yourself
I’ve been passed many times but not really noticed the railway sign until toady. What a great place it is, two steam trains were running towing from kids to pensioners around the circuit @ .75p a go. There’s a fully functioning signal box with miniature lever frame, its all track circuited, pneumatic points and lower quadrant signals, all working, turntable, traverser, miniature engine shed and lastly a brand new tearoom where a mug of coffee is .50p
Open to the public Sundays till the 30 Sept 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm
