I'm watching that one. Clearly its a project and I would never believe the mileage shown on the clock.

Seems to be a lot of fuss over nothing. If it goes for around a grand it will be OK.

Kinda agree, even with the quoted mileage on MOT in 2002, nothing to suggest that the bike hasn't done another 100k in the following 10 years.

Get it cheap enough would make a interesting project.

No seriously, I mustn't complain as several people have been working on "Trigger" the original PinkLady bike that has been tinkered with every Weekend since the first event 4 years ago, and it is still some way away from being sorted.

There does seem to be numerous problems with this bike and with hindsight I should never have bought it as it has cost a fortune and had no end of problems. The latest revelations suggest that the frame is slightly twisted and a previous owner has machined the engine mounting spacers to allow the engine to sit straight in the frame

I bet it will go over a grand:blast

100k is a lot of miles, for an unknown quantity......... and what were you saying about 'Trigger' a couple of days ago (highlighted above):augie

Projects, not always a good idea:blast

OK,fair point Johnny but then again its not Proff selling the PD...

does any body now that silencers are fitted to the bike??

plus i thought ringging was when the frame number was changed?
has the bike not been clocked or they have just gone to 0000 then back up to 18k.

I reckon JB is after the bike and wants to put everyone else off bidding:D:D:D

scam, nowhere does it suggest a scam in the advert
