I got burnt last August and at the time i lost £2,300 buying a motorcycle on ebay.
Ebay did not want to help because Paypal was involved, and paypal said there money back guarantee does not cover vehicles. After talking with a solicitor and the FOB i put in a Section 75 claim against Paypal. In total it took 5 months for me to get my money back from paypal.
Its a bad world out there these days, and its to easy to get scamed even being on the ball and doing your checks.
