Electronic 12v linear actuators

I have two of these in my Hymer on the drop down bed. They are struggling to both lower and raise the bed. Someone told me the motors will be tired.
Is it possible that motors get tired ?

If so is there any way to get them refurbished?

I've asked the German manufacturer if they can supply new ones but they only supply to the trade. Hymer want £2200.

If they are a brushed motor, i would assume the brushes could do with replacing/refurbishing.

I would imagine there is a Company in the business in refurbishing/repairing motors of this type.

They’re probably windscreen wiper or window regulator motors on a screw drive.
