Amazing! An I thought the Dragon was hardcore :comfort

Great stuff.....thanks for that ! :thumb2

The Elefant`s been on my 'to do' list for some years and I really must get around to doing it.

Great photos,by the way.....especially the night time ones. :beerjug:

Great pictures :thumb2, wow respect,

O.k. then Tarka lets do it next year, lets do a back to back for the 50th Dragon and have a run down on 3 wheels, I'm sure Buck and the big diesel Ural will be up for it.
See you at the Dragon, have a drink / think about it

Do not even think about asking me, at the Dragon, after I've had a bier or five

Just don't ... that's all I have to say about it :blast

Hi Guys,
Sorry i'm a bit late, but have spent the last day chipping the salt crust away from the bike!

well here we go, the last time the bikes would look anything like clean- note to lone wolf- a busted heated vest is NOT A BREAKDOWN ;-)
<a href="http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/lh/photo/HoNH9LkMYacUFbxhFkihBw?feat=embedwebsite"><img src="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_q7SuV7XH5Go/S2igtqTkycI/AAAAAAAABOo/rz2NISxjKjI/s800/P1276587.JPG" /></a>

and this was the last time the bikes saw any temp above 5deg C for the week!
<a href="http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/lh/photo/wfgDTAN-YUoLlVjc9qdwVg?feat=embedwebsite"><img src="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_q7SuV7XH5Go/S2ig51dCGrI/AAAAAAAABOw/1RmBc9ddckE/s800/P1286589.JPG" /></a>

Just starting to snow- if anyone could invent windscreen wipers for a visor, you would have 3 sales right here!
<a href="http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/lh/photo/jjtnPn5bvnUp24yQcwqoPA?feat=embedwebsite"><img src="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_q7SuV7XH5Go/S2ihK9sKlRI/AAAAAAAABPA/JgZYPTiHECM/s800/P1286598.JPG" /></a>

during Marks clutch problem he got rid of Jack and myself, and duly replaced us with a the cutest blonde local girl he could have wished for, unfortunalty she was not as keen on posing for a photo as the breakdown truck was ;-)
<a href="http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/lh/photo/-_ZATF3MTW67zzybMaTH7Q?feat=embedwebsite"><img src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_q7SuV7XH5Go/S2ihQjbtU3I/AAAAAAAABPE/tCpsB2E8YgA/s800/P1286599.JPG" /></a>
for the rest of the trip this was put on rapid responce standby for the katies!
<a href="http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/lh/photo/aaRuPTGL0GRHlgjpmFaGmg?feat=embedwebsite"><img src="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_q7SuV7XH5Go/S2ihWiI4XRI/AAAAAAAABPI/8oLiqZNBOTs/s800/P1296601.JPG" /></a>
they sure had some nice toys at our temporary home
<a href="http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/lh/photo/7SgWXxC_4kjJdIA3o9P3iQ?feat=embedwebsite"><img src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_q7SuV7XH5Go/S2ihj3QhGkI/AAAAAAAABPQ/_vpxYdCstSg/s800/P1296603.JPG" /></a>
and good kaffe
<a href="http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/lh/photo/xwHkFBBlMQLjizGEoDnucg?feat=embedwebsite"><img src="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_q7SuV7XH5Go/S2ihowkr6tI/AAAAAAAABPU/3pk0g1YspkM/s800/P1296604.JPG" /></a>
they kept asking me to move the 800, said it would affect sales !!!
<a href="http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/lh/photo/QgTCEsWcPO92iKG3OWfArg?feat=embedwebsite"><img src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_q7SuV7XH5Go/S2ihvLxPSVI/AAAAAAAABPc/PUePXV6Z97I/s800/P1296605.JPG" /></a>

some of the road signs had me thinking we may have fuc*ed up with our choice of transport!
<a href="http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/lh/photo/-TT0MIakcQ0Tn_2UvhBLfg?feat=embedwebsite"><img src="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_q7SuV7XH5Go/S2ijB_nejYI/AAAAAAAABQg/goU_Mnt2Asc/s800/P1306623.JPG" /></a>
and they were right
<a href="http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/lh/photo/zglaSH8yOfgwx_oIbEer0w?feat=embedwebsite"><img src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_q7SuV7XH5Go/S2ijV8ecIUI/AAAAAAAABQ0/P2He56lJXTg/s800/P1306628.JPG" /></a>

We eventually arrived to this
<a href="http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/lh/photo/gBIEFtSIrO_sT2gV7H0-aw?feat=embedwebsite"><img src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_q7SuV7XH5Go/S2ih5KPfy_I/AAAAAAAABPo/wJgk8MIm9F4/s800/P1296607.JPG" /></a>
time for a lil celebration
<a href="http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/lh/photo/Aujxci09GbzBp-uY-8m_IA?feat=embedwebsite"><img src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_q7SuV7XH5Go/S2iiLjRheAI/AAAAAAAABP0/tUJ4CSg3rL4/s800/P1296610.JPG" /></a>

the next morning we had to literally dig ourselves out
<a href="http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/lh/photo/NOzoQU_F-4L6rLWL6ASHkA?feat=embedwebsite"><img src="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_q7SuV7XH5Go/S2iiQyWvEGI/AAAAAAAABP4/qTEwNg7voDU/s800/P1306611.JPG" /></a>

like some sort of refugees camp!

Hey Vader! glad to hear ya got home ok, i was the guy at the top of the lane you were talking to. How long did it take to get the ten started?... Out of the 6 bikes in our group 2 Triumphs and 4 gs1200's. It was the gs's that had the problems. On mine the Ignition froze and i couldnt even get the key in, ended up heating it with a zippo severel times which finally worked. The others had same prob with ignition but also there starter motors were frozen solid:blast.. In the end we got them started by putting into 1st gear rocking the bike and tapping the starter with a small hammer :thumb. Out of all the bikes that didnt want to start i'd say 80% were gs1200's.. but i still love mine t bits and i've got a new un comin in march :augie.. I'd post a few pics but mi camra froze up!! i wonder if bm made it!!
Hey Buckles, Shaggy, Mick i might do it again next year, ask me in a month when i can feel mi toes again!!

Daz..... frum tarn

Oh dear, I've fancied this for many a year, one of these days I might just be mad enough for it as I get older.

Hmmmm.

Hat's off to you for doing it, ask me nearer the time, it looks like perhaps a wee ukgser gathering might be in order.

J.

I just saw this thread.
-And what a thread! :thumb2:bounce1:thumb

-Why not make a large tour for some weeks?
Dragoon, Elefanten, Krystallrally, Primustreffet, and there is more.

I'm sure there won't be many mosquitoes, and sf.4 would be ok most days... :P

:bounce1 Liv.
