If you replace the end can/headers and de-cat the bike does it flag up any error warning lights like it would a car ?

What is the cost for a Hilltop remap by the way ?

End cans and headers do not show warnings
diagnostics at service may show if you remove the flappy thing but that is it

as for Hilltop if you are a first time offender cost is £350 i believe

Thanks Redrick, if I take the primary cats off my BMW car I'd get all manor of warning lights , good to know the bikes not so much then

If its of any use, i installed the Mivv headers, which retain the exhaust valve motor / connectors (but not the valve of course) I think with the others, you just remove the motor unit entirely.

Does the valve serve any useful purpose or is it just to keep the noise down below certain speeds ?

I replaced the cat and put the Akro on.the instruction tell you to disconnect the valve and leave the little black box on the engine.went to Belgium the other week end and found the bike goes and breaths a lot better.i took the baffles out of the end can and now it sounds brilliant too
