Maybe Adam might disclose some of his lanes around Cambridge.
And I hear that there's some good laning to be had from Sudbury down to Essex. Wasn't there someone on here a while ago offering to help out with some lanes in Essex?
went out today round some lanes ,north essex some good but some have had chipping put over them for the ramblers. Dog walkers every where ,not that good . it was so cold It turn me into a lady ,,,,, if only I had rays bag with me
Hi to all n TW, as for the lanes, just gota get me heated grips fitted! I will ride in any condition's but the one I hate the most is ICE, for some reason I find steering and braking difficult, (must get the self tappers screwed into the knobblies) last time I was out (a while ago now) a lot of the BOAT's (Byways Open to All Traffic) had been graded and shale'd, not great for fun riding, and it hurts when shale hits ya, believe the councils that have done the work because of the down grading (Feckin Nerk bill) has shot them in the foot, they now have less lanes but they are required to keep the one's they have open to all traffic, unless they put TRO's (Traffic Restriction Orders) on them, effectively closing them, it must have cost them (Us taxpayer's) a bloody fortune to ruin our lanes!! Will watch the thread and see what/who's up for a bimble, and it will be a bimble too, as I've swapped me Katook 525 for a street fighter, I'm not good enough a rider, or strong enough to keep picking up a GS1150, so I'll be on my Yam TT600 Belgarda bimble machine, I know quite a few lanes in the local, but there is always a bit of tarmac to get to the next one's, some longer one's over towards Newport/Stanstead area, waiting to see thread develop? Regards Dusan
I'd be keen to ride some lanes around the Cambridge area if someone can organise, Adam does seem to know most of them, perhaps he'd be up for another ride out?
