Enduro Himalaya - Ladakh June/July 2011

Fabulous report and really good scrapbook appearance pics with that iPhone app. In fact I'm quite impressed with all the pics. Well done on completing the event and reaching such dizzy heights! :clap :thumb2

Thanks :-) I like the iPhone app but the pictures aren't to everybodies taste and are quite Marmite - personally I think they worked well in a lot of the subject matter.

And Rob, you are spot on about the trip - I'm sure every group that does one of the trips 'bonds' but there did seem something special about our trip which partly, was down to the guys and gals there and partly down to how tough the trip was in places And, thanks for the kind comments :-)

Doc Rob,

That's film perfectly sums up the riding: laid back in places, on the edge in others, but ALWAYS great fun. Good to see the Rhotang tank slapper going on strong.

The only thing missing is footage of the following:

Maggi Noodles
Chai
Kingfisher (by the bucket load)
Ropey Indian Whisky (by the bucket load)
Belly-laughs-a-plenty

Watching it has made me a little bit sad because I miss being on the trip so much. But overall I still feel so lucky to have been on Trip A 2011.

These are the days that must happen to you.....

Heres a clip from an up coming TV series from blood sweat +gears soon to be shown on sky sport extreme. Shot this year on EnduroHimalaya Trip A :thumb2

Epic

Sums the trip up fairly well. Except there seemed to be a distinct lack of nudity of whisky on this year's trip!
