Enduroland this weekend 28th 29th June 2008

Could be tempted to go on the Sunday - are you going on your BM or are you taking a Pogo?

Wreford.Yes it is. Ive been before it and its well worth it, although the venue has changed since I was there. Its a bit technical in places but there are also places where you can open the throttle a bit (ie, get a rest !!)

I'll be on my Airhead...

The guy that runs the place said it's not as technicall as the last venue and where the last one required you to complete the course with no get out options this one has the options to go round... it may even be 11XX friendly for the well ard;-)

I'll be there on Sunday

I could be tempted, got a new bike to try out!

If anyone is heading up from anywhere en route - Caerphilly to the venue, and has space on a trailer or in a van to reduce petrol costs that may tip me in favour of going.

Wreford.

On the day I was there, there was supposed to be "get out" options but I/we never saw them. Still, we had a great day though, and it is good "fun".
May be going on my own from North lincs if anyone wants to share costs etc (spare place on my trailer)

No can do, as I am on Sailsbury plains on sturday and dont have a sunday pass :(

at a rememberance service :(

There were easy options for the technical parts last time I went, should be fun.:thumb

sorry been away

I'm up for sunday you riding up or trailering ?

As I'm already doing a full days ride on Saturday, and work has been a bitch this week, I've run out of time to get the boring stuff done :-(

Have a great day out and take pics - I'm really interested to hear how well this place suits bigger bikes :thumb2

I'm glad they took the steepest hill out, it was meant for trial bikes! The airhead went up but the front was reaing at the top and I reckon I would have come a cropper and it was along way down with 200 kilo's following.

Intially it took a while to get into the flow so I was coming in after each lap (just under 5 miles) but by the end of the day I was happy to do 4 straight laps at a pace I thought was quite respectable (even through the woods).

Is it Ok for big bikes yes and I could have got my 1150 around if I had to (without the steepest hill) but I would'nt have enjoyed it

Looks great - thanks for the feeback. I see from their site that they can hire the venue out - maybe we should get a group of us together to hire it out for a day or weekend. What do you think?
